OrneryBoy SG Thank God, just found that the first train from my place is 0545hrs and my run starts at 0700hrs, should reached there in time bah.. here's are the List of Road and Exit Closures http://www.singaporemarathon.com/2005/route/closure.asp
the Bear SG the concept of waking up in an ungodly hour, just to torture yourself for a couple of hours, then yukky and sticky and in pain, ride the train home while everyone stares at you in amusement or disgust... is totally beyond me
ben1xy SG last week i went to the gym. run for 5 km almost dropped dead... actually after 3 km cannot take it... only my pride did not allow me to stop, hahaa
sillyme SG It's easier to run 5km on the road than on the threadmill because you have much more control on your pace. CE confuse marathon with parapara dance ah? Thanks for the link OB
Chin Eng SG reminds me of a microsoft game long long time ago - think it's called olympics. use you finger to simulate a 100m dash. Freaking tired fingers after that + a broken keyboard very soon. I use a stationary bicycle 3 to 4 times a week. Do a 45 min routine reaching about 24 km. Cannot for the life of me, run. Running to me is singular the most punishing of all exercise.
sillyme SG Hey I played the Olympics games before! Till date some of my friends are amazed why my fingers and alternate I still remember falling flat many times for the long jump segment
Chin Eng SG aa? didn't follow the JTB saga?? According to him, I am the big time gangster mafia type....
sillyme SG If I put sillyme, it's Piero Castiglione If I put my full name, it's Angelo Ventimiglia I prefer the first one
JLennon SG hey hey don't be bias. the game was also playable using DOS. i cannot for the life of me remember the name of the incumbent decathalon star in that game.
